I have worked in various aspects of Sterile processing for approximately 14 years. Hello! I'm Mike Wilkie and I've been in the Sterile Processing field for over 20 years. I've held many positions in SPD, as a Technician, Product Coordinator, Manager, and Departmental Director. I also work as an adjunct instructor as an Educator to prepare individuals for the CRCST Exam. I truly enjoy watching my employees and students find their true passion by working behind the scenes to "break the chain of infection" for the safety of our patients and colleagues. I've been an active member of MACSA since 2013 and have served on the board as Vice-President as well as President.
Hi my name is Kelly Bissey, I am currently the Past President of MACSA. I have been an active member of MACSA since 2007 and served on the board as President, VP and Secretary. I have been in the Sterile Processing field for over 24 years. I have had many roles in the field starting as a technician and moving up into leadership over the years. Now I am a Case Cart Coordinator working closely with the OR. I believe Continuing Education is the Key to Success in our profession. MACSA is here to provide Education and Connection to All of it's members.
Sterile Processing Manager in the tri-state area and I have over 15 years in Sterile Processing. I am such a great resource of information and knowledge. I have worked at several hospitals in the tristate area which has taught me so much along the years. I truly love to inspire others and give the best of myself to my patients and staff.
As Director of Education for the Mid-Atlantic Central Service Association, leads the design and coordination of educational programs that promote best practices, compliance, and professional advancement in sterile processing. Passionate about accessible education, mentorship, and strengthening the SPD community through high-quality learning experiences.
Chante Brown is a Sterile Processing professional with over 15 years of experience across a variety of roles within the field. She is deeply committed to continuous learning and to supporting those working in sterile processing, with a strong focus on educating newcomers in correct methods and setting them up for long-term success. She currently serves as a Sterile Processing Educator and is the former co-founder and lead instructor of a CRCST preparation program.
